Meeting April 7, 2013

April 5, 2013 by

We have a meeting on Saturday at 3:00 pm. at the Library on 304, we need input on our next move it’s time we wake up. We are being over charged on our water and sewer, they are charging what they want. I will do what I can now, before I have surgery on my back on May 1st.. In May we will move forward. If these don’t change soon.

UPDATE: WE HAD A MEETING ON SATURDAY. It was brought out that several people are having problems with roaches. Everyone was very concern about the sewer and water prices. It was everyone opinion that we don’t need to pay for the empty homes that may be leaking, or leaks under ground. I passed out sheets to monitor our water and sewer bills and we will make issues after my surgery. I will be having surgery on my back on May 1st,it will be done as out-patient they have come along way since the old days.

Our meeting had a delay because of the electric going out we had to leave the building, until the lights came back on. So we sat outside and when I went to get up off the bench I fell down, my friends up me back up on my feet. My left leg just gave out, it is getting weaker every day. The disc is pushing on my sciatica nerve making my muscles weaker. Wish me well, and thanks for my friends that helped me to my feet. That was my 6th fall.

HAPPY & BLESSED EASTER TO ALL
IMPORTANT REMINDERS 2 VERY IMPORTANT EVENTS THIS WEEKEND
The EASTER BUNNY COMES TO LIBERTY

SATURDAY, March 23 at 9 am at the large meeting room at our Township Building. The EASTER BUNNY will be there with lots a presents and every child gets to pick one of their choice. There are egs full of candy and a very entertaining “candy scramble” at the end. Come early with your camera and take some pictures. Our Bunny is very accommodating and great with the kids. It is warm and dry and not only the kids love it but the parents and anyone that comes enjoys it to the same degree. Who doesn’t love to watch all these little “darlings”. Come, bring the kids and make some new memories and bring back some old ones of your Easter Days. The action starts at 9 am and will continue until all of the children get presents and all the candy is gone.

THE FIREMEN’S ANNUAL PANCAKE BREAKFAST will have its Annual Pancake Breakfast, Sunday, March 24th from 8 to 2 pm at Guy Middle School. Please consider attending the breakfast. This is the only fundraiser that the Firemen have. This affair is an annual rite of passage to Spring . The Historical Society will have tables showing the history of our township. These displays are very good. Worth your time to check them out. The LBA and Friends of the Liberty Library will also be represented. Of course all tables will be attended by your friends and neighbors who are proud of Liberty and always working to make it better. I hope to see you all there at both events.
***From time to time I put PR Announcements in my YADA to inform my friends of events or actions that are beneficial to all of us. That is what YADA should be about. To inform us and possibly enrich our lives in some small way. When I do, please note these items and if possible perhaps you can help. If not at least you are aware that there are people who care among us and that alone should make our day a better one.
Centers For Hearing Care is a Liberty professional office and I proudly say an active member of the Liberty Business Association participating in many community events. Once again they are doing their part to make our community better. Please note:
Centers for Hearing Care is a drop off site for 2nd Harvest Food Bank again this year. Once again we will display your business card on our wall on a bag that states “I fed a hungry child today”. Please help us help our neighbors. One out of five children in our area lives at poverty level or below. It is so easy to help. Please be generous, the food bank can turn every dollar they receive into $15.00 worth of food. If you can help this worthy cause, stop in at their offices in the Plaza behind McDonald’s.
The next Friends of the Library meeting will be on Tuesday, May 14, at the Library at 7 pm.
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE.

This & That
New businesses Adm. Ungaro reports new businesses that have either already opened in Liberty or are tentatively scheduled to do so and they will increase the traffic and the spending in our community. Some of these are the Revol Cell Phone store, the new Chinese Buffet, a possible birthing center, a new Fish Restaurant to go where Coney Island was and others. The Ramada Inn project has been increased by several million and the banquet facilities have been upgraded from 300 to 500 capacity. Our business community is growing.
Safety There have been recent outbreaks of robberies and the attacks by hawks on individuals in the township. One woman had to have a number of stitches in her head after being attacked. Look around you both for suspicious people and flying objects like hawks. Remember the hawks are protected. Stay safe.
The Liberty Fire Dept. will have its Annual Pancake Breakfast, Sunday, March 24th from 8 to 2 pm at Guy Middle School. Please consider attending the breakfast. This is the only fundraiser that the Firemen have. This affair is an annual rite of passage to Spring . The Historical Society will have tables showing the history of our township. These displays are very good. Worth your time to check them out. The LBA, LSPTA, Library Friends and Block Watch will also be represented. Of course all tables will be attended by your friends and neighbors who are proud of Liberty and always working to make it better.

EASTER BUNNY If you have never done so, please come and enjoy this. The children are precious and a joy to watch. Held in warm comfortable surroundings and every child gets his choice of toy and there is a candy scramble. Parents—bring your children and your camera. They grow up so fast, get some memories. See you there.
Social Dinner. Fred has returned to Page’s and is making many changes. Come check it out and enjoy Fred’s cuisine. He has quite a reputation for great food. He’s back!!!!!
See you everywhere!!!!!!
