We are having a meeting on Friday at 3 for everyone at the Library. Our church is taking donations for a group called WILLOW WOMEN’S CENTER It’s for woman with unplanned pregnancies. They provide accurate information regarding all of her pregnancy options in a safe environment that is free of judgement or coercion. Because they do not perform or refer for abortion procedures, the patients are assured that they are not having a financial stake in their decision. They transform their fear into confidence and equip them to make healthy, life-affirming decisions.

They provide so much for women including on site R.N. Lab Testing Ultrasound Exam Std Testing plus so much more.We have a paper letting you know what your donations will help. This tax deductible. Received from Chief Tisone, Liberty Police. PLEASE READ and pass along to all our residents, specially our senior citizens who may not have access to email or sometimes even the paper. Many due to finances have to cancel the paper so they are not aware of many things that happen in our community. Please take these messages seriously. Pass the word!
The department has received two reports of senior citizens being approached at Giant Eagle and at the PMC Bank at 304 & Belmont Ave. The suspects are two male blacks pretending to inherit money and needing the senior citizen to go to their bank and take out money. Supposedly once the senior citizen gives them the “earnest” money, they can split the inheritance. Please caution seniors in your family to walk away and immediately contact the Liberty Police Dept. at (330)759-1511 or (330)675-2730. Also, any description of persons or vehicles should be noted.

Liberty Relay For Life

May 1, 2014

The Liberty Relay For Life will soon be here and many people are working hard to make it a success and to raise as much funds as possible. Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17 will approach fast and they have much to do. This year it will return to the Liberty school grounds for logistic reasons. This is a fantastic event for our community and I think most people recognize this. I wonder if anyone has ever thought what a unique event this is.
Most events we go to we have one or sometimes, very rarely, two goals in mind. We attend the funeral home to pay respects and honor friends, go to a movie or show to escape or be entertained, to a doctor to feel better, to school to learn, go to party to have fun or a restaurant to eat, support a charity to help people, to a fair to be with friends and community.. The list is endless. BUT Relay for life does all of this and more. We remember friends and loved ones. We honor those lost. We enjoy a great community event and see so many neighbors and friends. We challenge each other. We laugh, we cry and we raise a lot of money to erase a killer from our lives. WE DO IT ALL WHEN WE PARTICIPATE AND SUPPORT RELAY. EVER THINK OF IT LIKE THAT?
Above see some of our 24 hour walkers and the team from Liberty Schools marching.
Plan to be there. Be a part of LIBERTY RELAY FOR LIFE
