It’s Time For Elections

September 13, 2019 by

Well here it goes! We had a meeting last week and been holding off till I met with the Police Chief today. We had coffee with a new person running for Trustee of Liberty.his name is Devon Stanley he is an attorney at Law. He would be willing to come and set up a table to meet and greet. I will be having Absentee Ballot Application and a Voter Registration forms. If anyone interested in passing these out let me know. We can make a big different in this election. Please Help!!!!!

So we talked about the lighting up front, that will be changed, I have Trustees willing to make this happen. This is well needed for safety reasons. Also need for speed bumps street name signs put back up. Maybe talking to have Marla made a one-way street.

Vintage Village Going Crazy

April 8, 2019 by

Over the years since 2009 when we started our Peoples Voice Inc., many of you have been involved one way or another. A couple of you are new.. I had just signed a new lease and then I get these new rules in the mail that they want pet fees, vet record, vet photo, license receipt, and a $15.00 over 25 pounds, they will pay $25.00. There is a $200. Pet deposit for pets in park owned homes. Here is a good one! If a pet is found to be in your home and not registered a $200.00 penalty will be issued. As many of you know the weight of a dog was 25 pounds now they increase to 75 pounds.

I have been after law makers to do RENT CONTROL nothing!  The other issue is still going on you pay a certain amount that they say you owe on your water and sewer PLUS $15.00 a water service fee.  I went and paid my usual amount now I just seen I owe another $17.05 that I still owe.  My water and sewer went up, it’s been the past year always the same price. Now we have a new person acting Manager. They do what they want, and now it must stop. My has none of this in my lease. This all confusing let’s try this!

Pets:

$10.00                                                                                over 25#   $25.00

Plus a $200.00 deposit (new)      and        not registered $200.00 penalty

My pets are license by the VA  for my special needs, but the other people in here need the help.

What Will Be Our Next Task

March 9, 2019 by

We have been through a great deal over the past years since 2009. We had all three news agencies here in our community, meetings in two different church halls and Denny’s back room. We were having meetings every week, then every other week, then down to once a month. Do to no interest in the morgity not interested. I will be working on certain issues as they happen.

Some of you know of our past and many don’t, because if they did they would think twice before moving in here. It is getting a little better, but a long ways to go.

Snow Storm

I just want to remind the people living on Louise -James- Tuttle-Scott and Marla you may want to have your cars pointed out bound. It will so much easier in getting to Belmont then trying to turn around in this heavy snow coming in on Saturday. We may want to help others to shovel their snow we need to work together. Thx.

Liberty Twp.

March 24, 2018 by

Hello All!

I am writing you this evening to encourage you to please schedule yourselves for future township meetings.

They are scheduled for the third Monday of each month at 6:30 caucus and 7:00 p.m. meeting.  The other two board members have scheduled Thursday mornings at 7:30 am every week – even though I stated that I could not make this time for meetings.  If you are available to come at this time, please do!

For those of you who came last Monday – I thank you from the bottom of my heart.  It was wonderful to look out in the audience and know that I had supporters out there.

I am sure you have been reading different articles in the paper regarding the Board and their decisions.

I would like you all to participate by coming and witnessing for yourselves what happens first hand and not what is only reported or omitted in local newpaper articles.

This Monday the Board has a special meeting at Noon to hire a new law director.  Please try to attend this important change in our administrative personnel.

Thanks so very much!

Very truly yours,

Jodi

Toy drive for three Little Boys

November 24, 2017 by

It is for 3 little boys ages 6 4 and 2 it is already going on if they would like to donate anything just contact me I have a tree set up in Lordstown at our place dinner. The gifts have to be unwrapped so we know it is nothing harmful or inappropriate. They need to be turned in by the 17th. Because they are going to be dispersed to the family by the 20th. The grand mother is raising the boys with no income the mom is no where to be found and the sole provider just passed away. They are very dear to my heart. They like peppa pig, blocks, play doh and little people. But they are really grateful for anything. You can drop off to Lacey at 21 Craig Lane or phone for questions 330-564-7873.
